cowl hoods
A buddy of mine was telling me that ,somewhere is sold cowl induction hoods just the cowl part. It can be centered top bottom side to side and rivited or spot welded to the old hood. the scoop is metal.Cutting out the underside of the hood will open it up. The rib that runs down the center of the hood is matched with one on the cowl hood. I told this guy he was full of it. I've seen fiberglass scoops epoxied on fiberglass hoods but not metal cowls. My buddy said they were like 80 bucks! has any body heard of this???????

They're out there. Maybe not specifically for our trucks but can be trimmed to fit. Check E-bay for some deals
