The dodge frame does not mount to the floor holes on a Chevy, and requires modification to fit properly. The center seat is identical and mounts exactly the same with the same 4 clamps.

Sorry for the confusion. I do not claim to be an expert on these seats as the ones I have are the only ones I have seen disassembled. I have two frames, one Chevy and one that I thought was a Dodge. I put the frames bottom to bottom and the holes lined up exactly. The difference I noticed was the front rail is straight whereas the Chevy has a curve back to the buddy seat. This straight rail would necessitate re-drilling the holes in the buddy seat compartment to use the clamps, all the other holes for the two seats lined up.

Re: WTB: Buddy Bucket seats 67-68

If they match up, then I do not see any reason why it would not bolt in? I have yet to see a Dodge frame that was even close to a Chevy frame. The top frame you have pictured is obviously from a Chevy...the second one pictured looks different from all the Dodge frames I have had...hmmm, interesting. Do you know what make/model the Dodge frame came out of?

Re: WTB: Buddy Bucket seats 67-68

I don't know what the "Mystery" frame came out of. The first set of seats I bought didn't come with a frame, and I didn't know they were supposed to have one.(I didn't know much about buddys at that time.) I then bought two more sets with Chevy frames and then bought the other frame, which I was told was a Dodge, to make up a complete set. I kept the best set for myself and have sold the other two sets to other board members.

Do you know if the two thick washers go between the outside slider and the seat. One of my sets came apart that way and it seems to me that was correct to give room for the connector rod to clear between the seat and the slider.

Thanks, Charles

Re: WTB: Buddy Bucket seats 67-68

The spacer washers go wherever they are needed to level out the seats...generally they are used on the outside brackets of the passenger seat. That second frame may very well be a Chevy frame?? 66 gmcs also had the buddy bucket option I believe...and the frame used looks like the second one you have, so who knows?!

Re: WTB: Buddy Bucket seats 67-68

I have a friend that told me that he used to have a 66 with Buddy Buckets, so that may be the answer to the question. That would make sense as to why the holes line up to the floor.

The frame on the left is 67/68, the frame on the right looks like a 66. This is a Dodge frame

I found out that this frame is not a Dodge, but maybe a 66 GMC as it fits the floor holes just like the 67-68 Chevy does. It sits about 1 inch higher than the 67-68 Chevy frame. Still a good buy for $400
