Question LS1 fuel system

I purchased a unfinished '51 Chevy, that has a transplanted '06 5.3 truck engine. In trying to connect the fuel system I realized I can't find the return fuel line at the engine or the regulator. Does it not have one or what? I have 2 lines out of the tank, 2 lines ran close to the engine, understand supply line, but not the other unless that is suppose to be my return.

Re: LS1 fuel system

Some of the ls engines ran a returnless system. They ran the return line from the fuel filter area. Some dont even have a return at all.

Re: LS1 fuel system

06 would not have had an external filter. It would have had only the supply line. They were a returnless system.

Re: LS1 fuel system

As long as everything is hooked up correctly... run it. no special procedures. I suppose if you wanted you could key it up a couple times just to fill the rail a little quicker.
