1/2 ton master vs. 3/4 ton
Okay I know the differences between the two how the 3/4 ton master cylinder is backwards to the half ton. I've tried searching for the thread about someone asking the advantages the 3/4 ton has over the half ton.(if it even does) But I only get threads about people asking about the boosters, so is the 3/4 ton master any better than the half ton or is it just the same, just reroutes fluid differently. I wanna know since my master crapped out on me and I'm looking for something better, I have 71 style brakes on my 67, thanks for the replys.

With my c20 disk swap I needed new lines from mc to prop valve that was about I think. I'm not positive but I think the c20 mc has more pressure to it. I'm sure someone will chime in.

According to my Raybestos parts book, the 1/2 ton master cylinder bore is 1.125" and the 3/4 ton bore size is 1.250". This means more fluid going to the calipers and wheel cylinders. However that also means YOU need to push on the pedal harder to make that extra fluid work unless you also add the power booster from the 3/4 ton truck. My understanding is that they got a larger booster that provides more power assist to balance out the extra effort needed at the pedal. I don't have a book of the boosters for comparing numbers on them though.
