Thumbs up

I have one with the big back glass. I haven't seen many with the full glass and I haven't researched any history on the truck/models/options. When my dad bought it in '77 it had "supposedly" 3/4 ton coils in the back and a cab over camper. All it had in was the 250 6cyl and 3 on the tree. It has the Custom Cab trim on the cab, but I have seen small glass windows with that same trim.
Any info on what models the "Custom Cab" trim when with??

custom cab

unfortunately i do not beleve there was a option for this that was heldup to. the local chev dealer out here in california would put custom cab moldings on all the pickups in the lot. and would also put the underdash ac in alot of them. the rare ones are the bigwindow with power steer and brakes and ac in the dash. so to answer your question usually if the truck had factory single color paint with a white top it was dealer installed custom cab kit if it was two tone with the white stripe it was usually factory custom cab. eather way you have a nice truck. what you going to do with it next?

I figured the big glass was more rare, but as far as options, it had none that I know of. Just stock heat. A/C is the ole 2/55

EDIT: The truck is 2 tone with white top and white stripe.

I didn't think the custom cab trim held much water as far as being strictly certain trim models.

The future is up in the air. My dad and I somewhat restored it 13 yrs ago when I was 16. We put a 350ci in it and my heavy foot allowed me plenty of time to get good at putting the cheap 3 spds in it. I keep it running now just so it gets used from time to time, and the ole man says he eventually wants to tear it down and do a frame off. (You know how that goes.)
