what size and what kind of screws hold sunvisor brackets on????

Its a sheet metal screw with a shoulder for counter sink. I forget the size, possibly #8... As for length off the top of my head i think they are 1/2" long. Measure the thickness of the bracket where the screws passes through then add 1/8" or so to be sure it catches. You have a little leadway for too long of length as the outer roof skin is a pretty good distance
away, just dont get crazy. Take a drill bit set and try to find which size fits snugly, then head to a fastener shop like fastenal. Lowes home depot or tractor supply or your local mom and pop hardware store as well. Tell them you need six screws to fit that size hole. They'll have it.
