What is the solution to keeping the bolts tight at the Collector?
Mine are comming loose every time I drive it and I have been tightening the **** out of them!!!

Remove headers, and install ramshorn manifolds, problem solved.

Make sure the rest of the exhaust has lots of flex in it. Can't be too tight or collectors loosen due to engine movement.

Use pinch nuts instead of regular hex nuts.

I put two nuts on each bolt.

I have had decent luck with loc tite but the pinch nuts would be best.

have a routine maintenance list// check fluids grease front end check header bolts etcetc do it with your oil change and the problem is solved

I used Percy's soft aluminum gaskets on the headers and collectors. 1" header bolts grab more threads and new bolts on the collectors that came with the gaskets with lock washers seem to be holding well. I have full exhaust all the way out the back.

I like to use old rocker arm pivot balls as washers on collector flanges.Helps spread the load

I am gonna assume you are using headers and flanges with gaskets ? that's why they wont stay tight I fought with them for years , SUMMIT has a product they are called HEADER BUDDIES they are made so that you DONT USE A GASKET ! you can install them tighten them and FORGET THEM !
