Seal questions

At the corner of the hardtop, where the top meets the front part of the body, I have a seal that I don't see in LMC. Are these available anywhere? If not, how necessary are they to a waterfree cab?

Also, I have 2 NOS seals for the top of the door, on the hard top. I know the left side in the picture goes low, and the other side goes high, but in the LMC catalog it looks like that high part should be bigger, and maybe have screw holes?

Re: Seal questions

I think you have seals for a single wall top and trying to install on a double wall top, or visa versa. If you have a metal channel around the window opening then you have a single wall top

That large piece you are referring to is part of the door seal. I wouldnt leave anything off, as these things leak bad enough

Re: Seal questions

You also need the rain deflectors, plastic pieces that screw to the windshield frame and the top. They help keep water out of the front corners. Use some RTV black under them to help them seal.

Ahh! Not sure why I didn't think of that myself, I have a single wall. Looks like I will be ordering a set of seals and these NOS babies will be fore sale. Thanks!
