"New" truck "Old" nose (pic)

Seen this on the net the other day.....I think maybe on facebook or something. Don't really remember where.

I don't exactly know what to call this or where to post it on here but thought it was a pretty awesome looking truck.

Its a newer chevy pickup and I believe they said it was a 1960 nose.

Anyways, here it is..........Thoughts?

I don't like it as-is. You need to lower the area above "Chevrolet" and pull the hood down to match the rest of the body. My .02, of course.

But isn't that how the nose looked for that year?

just googled the original trucks and I see what you mean.

I like it the way it sits but would love to see the view from inside the cab......may be riding up the windshield some.

Interesting concept, but I personally don't like the way it looks. To each their own I guess! The front sheet metal is from a 59 Apache btw. Not that anything is proper on this truck, but they used the wrong front fender emblem. The 32 emblem was for 1/2 ton long bed models, while the 31 emblem was for 1/2 ton short beds.

Nice to see someone doing something different.

I have always been a fan of the bubble looking lights, hoods etc etc. Pretty cool looking.
