Still Wanted badly - factory power steering for a 60-62
Well, time to beg again - I have searched and searched all over the nation and cannot find a factory power steering setup off a 60-62 Chevy or GMC....the 60-62 trucks have a boxed "X" frame and torsion bar front suspension so the drag link is shaped specifically to these early years and the push rod support bracket is made for the boxed frame vs the 63-66 style which is for a C-channel coil spring equipped truck.
I am willing to pay a high price to get this setup if anyone can find one and willing to shell out a 50.00 finders fee if someone can just find someone I can buy it from....anybody got a lead? |

this is going to drive me to drink - no one seems to know where I can find this power steering stuff for the 60-62's - let me know if you know anybody who might have it

Do you have a pic of the set up? Would like to see what your talking about in case I run up on one....have a couple of honey holes I can check with some trucks that model....if I find I will trade toward some swb 60-61 molding

I will look this weekend on the 1 ton GMC we just drug in. I don't know if it's a 62 or 63. I haven't looked under it and not sure if it has power steering or not. If I found out something I will let you know. I've got my father-in-law buying trucks now. This stuff is addicting. I only needed a few parts for my project and now I have four trucks to choose rusty parts from.
