"new" wiring harness

Was doing my normal run around ebay and came across this wiring harness. Mine has been spilt and all kinds of craziness done to it. which is a little bit of a head ache. so I have been wanting a new one. Little cleaning and should be good as new. I m happy with shelling out the $45

Re: "new" wiring harness

Not sure what you have done to your truck or what the future plans are but after doing mine and putting in a new harness from American auto wire it sure is nice that everything works when you start the truck.

Re: "new" wiring harness

not sure how "new" it is...no telling what shape the connectors are in, it has the old school fuses and fuse box and if it has any breaks or corrosion. also you need the harness up to the engine bay, headlights, taillights and gas tank. i did a painless.....one of the best upgrades i did.

Re: "new" wiring harness

I did this to mine. took the org harness and took it apart, cut out all the batt + that were tied together and also the grounds. you can take the wire connectors out of the plugs and clean them (little wire wheel) and then wired everything to a painless fuse block. (i had the block from another project) but now everything is on its own fuse.

Nice 61k10. I dont know if I m that good with electronics.
As far as my current wiring harness goes I m not sure what the old owners did. wires have T's coming off them some are chopped. tons of those twisty wire coneector things...looks like a damn rats nest. I just want something simple and everything works right.

Re: "new" wiring harness

there should be somebody that has upgraded to a new harness and has an old one in a box. you could post a want to buy, but you have to pay a fee to post it in the parts for sale. maybe some one will pm you.
