Aftermarket Cruise Control for Our Trucks

Does anyone make a aftermarket cruise control for our trucks?

Thanks

I put one of these on my truck years ago.
I got it when it was on sale at JC Whitney. It was around $75 on sale so shop around.

I used the magnet on the drive shaft. If you have a stick you can just use a signal from the distributor. I had a stick when I first installed it but had plans for a swap to an auto. The kit is set up to do both.

Bringing thread back from the dead, but do you have to have the brake light switch with the cruise control option since it is an aftermarket system? Thanks!

Holy crap is this an old post.
I still run that cruise control system but it has been MANY years since I installed it. I know that when I have the cruise on and step on the brake it disengages it so I would say yes, you need to hook the system to your brake light switch.

Re: Aftermarket Cruise Control for Our Trucks

I'm not recommending this but I have a friend that has a throttle control mounted on his dash like what you would find in a grain truck. He calls it his cruise control lol.

I purchased one from my local speed shop built by Dakota Digital (the dash people) works great, but a nightmare to install/program!
