this is the best shot I have of it with the clam on it...still cant really tell where the long part is pointing....ill have to look at it again tomorrow

I can tell that the clam shell is further back then the LS block mounting bolts. That means they're backwards. There's your cure man! No more driveshaft fix! Now you need new plates or get the grinder out and trim that block.
