I have a truck again

It's been exactly 2 months since I've had a truck. March 6th I traded sketchy deal for a 2000 Road King. Since then I've driven all over Kansas looking for another truck. Finally today found one I like in Kansas City. I've never owned a c-30. Pretty cool truck.

Thanks fellas. Hey Bill I found it around 29th and metropolitan in kck.
I was totally anal about the title. The guy who sold it to me was cool but probably be ok if he never sees me again.

With 3000 posts, you should know better. We need details man! Engine? Trans? Tilt bed? Standard gas tank? Extra gas tank? Drool marks?

To quote a certain Venus Fly Trap from a movie, "Feed Me!"

And yes, I am jeolous.

Re: I have a truck again

Thanks everyone! Engine is said to be a rebuilt...350. I asked about paper work. He he couldn't find it but would send it when he does find it. Manual 4 speed...the ulitimate compound low granny gear. The bed is not tilt, wish it was. 5th wheel hitch. Standard tank. Super clean underneath. Eraser yeah i'm looking like a rookie..Not sure I know what drool marks are. I'll get some more pics soon.

Thanks for the info. Sounds perfect! Tilt flat bed is just one of those things that exist but are rarely found. Sort of like a "Corvette" optoin.

Drool marks come from that spit stuff dripping off my chin from looking at your truck.

Re: I have a truck again

Thanks again folks! Hey chip, joe's truck is way nicer than mine. I plan on being at riverside, love that show. I plan on hauling carpet occasionally. I definitely want to work and drive it... A lot. The truck takes me back in time more than any of the trucks that I've owned.

Re: I have a truck again

I need to clean the engine bay.
The truck runs and drive very nice but, I'm not used to seeing a Holley one one of my vehicles. I am not opposed to them, I ain't a carb guy.

I'm terrible with an iphone. I tried to get a picture of the spare tire mount. My technical abilities are slack.
