After a long wait..New 4.5bs 15x10's mounted

Finally...Wheel Vintiques from summit, took all winter but the new 4.5 backspace fits nice.

Though I would share because seems like this is a pretty common setup.

Wheel finish is pretty poor but they balanced up ok. One (rim only) was .25g out and the other was 1.25g both have very little run out. And the weld issues seem fixed, wheel center welds look pretty good.

275/60 and 255 on the front (15x8)

Looks good,it's pretty hard to beat 15" wheels for these trucks.

Nice. I painted mine white and hope to mount them up when I get the truck running this week.

Jeez man you're making me want a pair now. I wish somebody still made 285/70r15's that weren't made of diamonds. You're 275/60 looks good though. How low did you go?

Also do blazers fit the same size wheels as trucks?

Those look great! In case you did not know, A 9.5" wheel is the maximum recommended width for a 275/60-15

Re: After a long wait..New 4.5bs 15x10's mounted

5x5 (5x120mm) bolt pattern, as far as i know 2wd blazer should be the same.

I live in BC so shipping was high, in the US from summit shipping will be free.

Yes I am aware that a 275 is under sized for a 10" rim 1/2" is not much I don't think it will affect tire wear, only other option is 295's and that is just too wide for my 10 bolt rear end, rather spin than break axles and gear sets. For now Im ok with a bit of tire stretch, not like it's stretched out like some of the drift kids are doing these days. lots of guys run this tire combo without issues.

I had my Series 37 Rallys shipped to a receiving company in WA, and then I went and brought them into BC myself. 5-hour round trip for me, but ~still~ cheaper than shipping and UPS brokerage.

Re: After a long wait..New 4.5bs 15x10's mounted

Agreed, ship happens in sumas wa I just don't have the time to deal with it. find usps and fedx are much cheaper than ups for cross border shipping.

On a large order with 2 wheels, rad, starter, alternator and a bunch of gaskets and random stuff it was $105us total to ship 3 large heavy boxes... not bad when it cost me $50-$60 to ship one guitar from the US.

You're in Washington, so shipping is free from Summit Racing.
