Back Window Graft on a 1967

I'm looking for any old thread that has info on a back "Big Window" replacement of the "Standard Small Window" on a 1967. If anyone can remember seeing one please hook me up with a link. I did several searches with no luck.
Thanks for any help!

Cool to some...but they REALLY limit your ability to see clearly...

I parted out a wrecked 72. I cut the roof width wised in center, and about in the middle of the back of cab to leave my body guy enough to work with. Not sure on exact method of welding it in, though...going in my 67

That's because it's not done very often. They really are a desirable cab, so I've seen a lot of people actually make trades over the years.

There really is no "best way" to do it. To me, the easiest way would be to remove the entire roof section. Cut the inner spot welds on the inner panel so that only needs to be re spot welded, you'll have to run a whole bead along the outside, but there will be little welding at the A pillars. You could probably sell your roof section and make some money back.

Here's one that goes the opposite way but the cuts would be the same I would think.... Post #12.

Maybe you should try to swap cabs with somebody. You might even be able to get one in better condition than hat you have.

hahaha
Oh... and one of those rusty cabs is even an original 67 big window cab blue in color, second one is a 69 white in color and last one is a green 68. LOL

Three(3) rusty big window cabs for one(1) perfect small window cab (no rust, no dents, no filler). Hmmmmm, let me think.......... Tempting, but better not. Thanks for the offer anyway!

I'm going to look at a '72 tomorrow to buy for the window and hopefully part some of it out to recoup my expenses.
