Seems like a good buy on Ebay

Nice 72 Highlander? Even has tow hooks and tool storage box. Seems like a good buy at the price it is at when I posted this, $1275

Just out of curiousity - no intentions to bid or anything - what does it cost for you to ship it?

Be careful!

The only thing I didn't like about the deal was I couldn't get the guy to answer specific questions on the condition of areas you can't tell from the pics or description. That bothers me. I would give a little bit for it, but not too much sight unseen.

Joe, there is another thread about this truck somewhere on the parts board, and it was decided it is NOT a Highlander package truck. I responded to the thread thinking the seat was a highlander, (it even fooled Longhorn Man). Then it was pointed out that the glove box decal states it had black vinyl interior, and someone else stated the seat would have the plaid inserts along with the scrolling in vinyl.

Don't want to discourage you from buying it, but also don't want you to be disappointed when you discover the seat is not original for the truck.

dtlilly, thanks for the info. You are correct, it is NOT a highlander truck, they were only offered in 1972, this is a 71. They all had parchement door panels, and visors and a parchement and plaid seat. I was not wanting it because of the thought of it being a highlander. Thanks for looking out for me though!!!

It's the tow hooks!!!

I didn't want to pay that much, but I was prepared to. Never did get the answers back from the guy, so I may be in for some surprises...but what the heck...it has tow hooks---right Jerry? Jerry, the tow hooks are worth it, aren't they?
Now to decide whether to keep it all original, or...TEAR IT APART and sell off all the good stuff. That sure would help out a lot of guys building nice trucks.
