Going to San Diego...

next week, will be there on or about the 15th. Anyone down there got a set of buckets for sale cheap? Thought I would look down there while I have the chance. Will only be in town for a couple of days though. Thanks, Jeff.

Hey Jeff,
You might give Ecology Auto Parts a call when you get to S.D. They're having a 50% off all parts sale on the 17th. Their number is: 619 - 409 - 9200 Who knows, you might get lucky.

Hey Red, I don't have any buckets. But I do work on the Island that you will be visiting with the big gray thing. I work at North Island in the 97205 Sheetmetal Shop in Bldg. 472. Up the hill from the Queywall. Most times I'm there from 6:30 am Until about 2:15. Shop # is 545-3685! Will be gone the afternoon of the 21st though!

Jeff, No. They're in Chula Vista which is South of S.D. Take 805 S. to Main, go left to Nirvanna I think, then left to Energy Way. I'm not positive on these directions, so give them a call to verify.

Thanks Fish, I'll give them a call and see if they have anything worth looking at. Smitty, do you drive your truck to work? I'll try to stop by there like on the 15th or 16th. Hope to see you. Jeff.

There's a bunch of yards just north of the 905 on Heritage Rd. I've been all around there and I still don't know how many are actually there.

If you do not find any down south. I picked up a 71 Blazer with bucket seats, and I am going to part it out, and should get it within a week.

red71cheyenne, if you go south on either I-5 or 805 they both cross 905. 905 runs basically east/west. It starts at I-5 and eventually goes into Mexico after it crosses Otay Mesa. I did see Ecology today. There is one on Heritage Road. Heritage crosses 905 just after the new high school about 1/2 to 3/4 mile. On the south/east corner of Heritage (your right) and 905 is an AM/PM -Arco store/ gas station, make a left there. If you miss it, go to the next stop light and you can either u-turn or make the left and get on the access road and it will take you to a T intersection .....Ecology is at that T just across the street from you. If you turn right there are parts yards galore. Going north on Heritage from there is a stop sign. Turn left and there are more. At the end of that little street is another stop sign.... if you turn right there are only a few more there and then you go down a curvy hill to Coors Ampitheater and then Main St. If you go straight at the stop sign there are a bunch more (you'll be facing west). Going back to the Heritage Rd. (you'll be facing east and that big mountain range) turn left and there are even more. When you get down to the end of the road it turns left and goes down an even twistier road and also ends up at a T intersection just up the hill from Coors Ampitheater....sorry to ramble, but I know that area pretty well. I work on Britannia Ct (south of 905 all the way at the end across from the Border Patrol station) which is just about 1/2 to 3/4 mile east of Heritage Road, ...

If you need a place to stash some seats for a couple of weeks let me know. I live in National City but I used to be in Reactor Department on the Vinson. Anyway let me know if I can be any help to you.
