Question Re: Cutting up 73-80 4x4 frame

I would like to ask if I could get the bed mounting brackets, if they are available. My zip is 78602.

Frame is all cut up and gone now, except the two front cross members, I still have those. And just because I am curious, do you have a picture of "bed mounting brackets"?

Unfortunately, I do not. They would have been located under the bed, closest to the cab.

Recieved the crossmember, after a little massaging it'll work out just great. Thank you

Without looking at FedEx I would say probably tomorrow, Monday. The other guy received his and they went out on the same day.

Re: Cutting up 73-80 4x4 frame

I got a box from Fed Ex yesterday but it only had one side in it.

Should I expect the other side today?

Re: Cutting up 73-80 4x4 frame

The coffee box was way to thin for shipping those frame parts.

It showed up with tape all over it, but it was inside another bigger sturdy box with a second shipping label on it.

I really need that other side. See if Fed Ex can track it down.

Otherwise, I got half the parts, just refund half the cost, and i will try to find the other one.

If you want pictures of the other outside box, I will send them to you.

Re: Cutting up 73-80 4x4 frame

Here is how this goes. We both have to call FedEx and tell them what happened. If they cannot find the other side, they will refund the money.

it probably wouldn't hurt. maybe just tell them that you want to know where your part is.

Re: Cutting up 73-80 4x4 frame

It been two weeks. Pretty clear that Fed Ex is not going to find the other frame section. Just refund me half what I paid and I will continue to look for another radiator support.

Thanks.

I made copies of all of the paperwork that fedex wanted and sent them in the other day. Fedex will pay the refund plus some of the shipping.
