New guy in Sherwood, AR

Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself....

Am starting up a restoration on my Dad's '69 GMC C15. I like to think I'm more mechanically inclined that your average Joe, but I know nada about restoring old vehicles.

Right now I'm concentrating on the engine, just seeing if I can get the thing running. It's been sitting behind the shop for 12 years, which is the last time the engine ran and even then it was a mess.

I'm going to have a ton of questions along the way so just wanted to warn you in advance.

Wish me luck!

Appreciate the warm welcome. Hope this forum is nice to newbies as I'm sure I have some really dumb questions that I'll be asking. LOL
