Trying to determine if these would be correct on my 67 gmc. They are aluminum, not steel. Any help or info is appreciated. I didn't pull the cap off yet, but can i assume these would be for a nub style wheel?

Yes, those are correct for 1967 GMC. Your wheel appears to be the standard nub style that accepts the regular 10 1/4" cap. Many of those '67-'68 caps look the same from the outside, but the backs sides can be different if wheels are clip type. Those are not aluminum, they are chrome over brass. They are notorious for splitting on the edges, be careful when removing. Those should shine up again after a little scrubbing with a very wet SOS pad.

A good, cheap way to clean up chrome is aluminium foil and soda pop- I'm told that diet Pepsi is best, but they guy that told me drinks that exclusively. Rub the crumpled foil over the surface, using the soda as a wash/lube. Amazing results, especially if it's got specks of corrosion on it.

Thanks for the info. Thought it was aluminum when it matched the trim on the side and i put a magnet to it and it didn't stick. Also the hole in it made me think it wasn't steel. Too bad i only have the 2 and they aren't very nice.
