Re: Roll call: Let's see some overseas members 67 - 72 trucks...who do we have?

Hi I have a k1500 gmc bought last year from oregan, and patially rebuilt. front off, new rockers inner rockers, and a couple of outriggers, Th350 has been rebuilt, and so has the engine its now a 383 stroker,

i also have a couple of c10 s from florida and georgia. the one is a 1970 c10 manual, v8 350, and Bondo bob as i call it is a 71 c10 , which is stripped currently having a restoration. The cab corners , floor inner and outer rockers part of the bulkhead etc etc where rotten. The PO put new doors on it fenders and bonnet, together with a new step back
i am building a replacement 383 engine for it with a large camshaft ,and a set of alloy heads, together with a tko 600 transmission.

Parts are for me not a problem as import allot of parts, and sell Summit parts and speedway here in the uk , together with classic industries and classic parts.

i would like to thank a fellow board member wrecked chevy who has helped me sourcing some used parts for me when some guys on here did not want to as i was outside of the USA. Clutch pedal and some small block engine mounts to convert the stepper in to a manual.

I was curious if any exported 4wd's would crop up. Thanks for posting and good luck with the builds - I'm glad to help with parts if possible and have a K1500 also. Keep us updated on the build - would be great to follow pics of the progress.

Jakarta? Welcome! Was the truck a local buy or one you had shipped? Really nice looking build. Tough to get parts?

So far we have the continents of N. America, Europe, and Asia represented - nice!

Bottom right hand corner checking in!
72GMC K2500, been in New Zealand since November of 72. Multiple owners, I purchased it 'a number' of years ago, and am working on the slowest rebuild ever. The picture on the rollback was about a month ago heading to the panel beaters for final panel alignment. Paint next!
Build thread here....http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=217490
Parts mostly come from a small shop in Olympia....

Nice! Thanks for posting. Another 4wd and another continent - technically Zealandia not Australia IIRC.

Re: Roll call: Let's see some overseas members 67 - 72 trucks...who do we have?

here's another one from the uk wrong generation but nice ride. the owner mailed me the photos 15 years ago when this forum existed as a webpage on geocities and I was running a 60's chevy email club.

Yep, have you ever been here before?

Yes it was local buy. We have some pretty good number of american classic car and motorcycle population in Indonesia.

Well, on internet era like now it's pretty easy actually to buy parts that we needed, but the compensations are it took pretty long time for the goods to arrive and the prices could be 5x more expensive than the actual price (with all those shipping cost and taxes and our corrupt customs guys, LOL)

Re: Roll call: Let's see some overseas members 67 - 72 trucks...who do we have?

Hi from Norway

This is my truck. It came from Arizona to Norway in 2002 and I am the second owner here. I bought it in 2005, in Bergen, Norway. Took a plane across the country and drove it back east.
