Electric windows problems.

I installed electric window regulators in my 1970 jimmy, the regulator are the same scissor style,all parts in and on doors are brand new,the problem I'm having is,the windows will go up and stop with a 1/2" gap between the top of the glass and the rubber seal.

I have the same problem on mine, they stop 1/2" from the top, but I don't have electric windows.
