Re: blazer visors mounting?

The visors mount to the windshield frame in the upper corners. The visors have nothing to do with the roof.

Re: blazer visors mounting?

The visors have two bolts to hold them to the windshield frame and one to the roof

Re: blazer visors mounting?

The two bolts into the roof actually hold down the corners of the roof. The visor bracket is also the roof bracket. It's a lot bigger than the bracket on the pickup trucks.

I didn't look on the classified on this site but there may be some Blazer/Jimmy visors for sale there. Can you take some pictures of the corners of your '71 Jimmy's windshield frame where the holes should be? What do the visors that you got with the Jimmy look like?

Re: blazer visors mounting?

No one I know of makes reproduction visors for the Blazer. You have to get truck visors and use the bracket and rod from your Blazer.
