Re: Newest Pictures of WOOD BEDS

I have $157 in my bed wood, total. I cut it to spec myself.

I can do other kits in exotic wood if you want.. but MarK or someone can probably do it cheaper due to volume. If youre close? .. (no shipping) Ill be glad to help you. (Anyone..)

Bed Wood & Parts, Sapele Mahogany

Four coats of their EZ Rub. Lined the inner bed panels with Gator Guard so it's easy to paint the exterior when the time comes.

Re: Newest Pictures of WOOD BEDS

Looks really good Larry.

Old thread i know, but what the h ll. its a good one.
Heres mine, seems to be odd man out. Going for the no flash, light use look.
I did 3 coats linseed oil first, (this is oak) it left light colored "dry" spots.
Went back over it with a half quart of valveline 10/30. Even gave it the tint i was looking for. Figure its shedded, ill reapply it every spring. Should cover any light scratches that accumulate.
