Can't get the cargo light assembly off.

I have a cargo light and I can't seem to get it to work and thought I would take it apart and see what was wrong but the screws just turn and they don't get loose or tight. The dome light works but it is kind of dim.

The cargo lamp screws go into a rubberized blind nut, like a nutsert. I had to remove the interior dome light and hold it with needle-nosed pliers while having someone in the bed remove the screws. If your back glass is a slider or is out it could be a one-person job, I suppose.
