don't quite know what the deal is this guy has sold it three times on there , maybe playing the bidds , who knows its nice , it has sold for 8850.00, 7700.00, 7000.00 since feb , if you look at his prior sells he has had a few of his cars relisted , I think it might be a dealing type dealer , who knows but nice burb for sure

Re: 69' for sale on ebay

Hey that's the one I posted about. I was winning bidder last time but he requires full payment by bank transfer within 72 hours. My banker said no way, no refund. I tried to arrange cash payment when I flew up but wouldn't be within 72 hours. I tried to explain that I was afraid there might not even be a suburban and if I sent money, I could get screwed. He seamed decent. A young kid but in the end I was a non paying bidder who's waiting for bad feedback.

It's been repainted also and he says it's not a 15000 suburban but is priced realistically.

So he turned down a cash / in person transaction because you couldn't make it within 72 hours? However, has listed it multiple times it sounds like? Something seems odd...

That does seem strange. Escrow.com would be a better and safer option for the buyer.

And this looks like a very nice Burb for the prices it has sold for.

Re: 69' for sale on ebay

He ended up saying cash was fine but questioned why I was flying up. In his mind an inspection should've been done prior to bidding (I agree.). I said I would fly up, pay him, spend a day changing fluids and going thru the truck. He said no way. It wouldn't make it the 600 miles back. "Any 5 dollar part could fail, and leave you stranded." I know it's risky but it was described as well maintained turn key. Then he said it'd been repainted. He also had it listed as c-20 but 4x4. Until I saw the spid I thought it was home built. Matt
