Hello fellow New Yorker. I am from Auburn. Always see them around. If you get a chance go to the syracuse nationals in july. Great show, and usually around 20 of these there. Need to post a pic of yours here also(reading your thread now).

Re: Attention all Western NY 67-72 Owners!

Just read your whole thread. You are in the fun stage(rust repair). Nice job, and good use of the 55 gallon drum. I actually miss doing that on mine. Might have to get another one once this one is done.

Not too many of us here. I'm not so "western", but close. I do go to the Syracuse Nationals every year too.

Here's a picture in its current state. Had a little fun with the photo while I was at it.

Re: Attention all Western NY 67-72 Owners!

Hey, Western New Yorkers Coming on August 1st & 2nd 2015 is the Empire State Antique Truck Show at the Stafford Firemens Grounds on route 5 in Stafford NY. I see a lot of trucks in this 67 - 72 Chevy truck fourm that would look great sitting on the grounds for a 2 - day show. Here is what I will be bringing. I also do all the pictures for the whole event. I would love to see your truck there for a great photo.

Re: Attention all Western NY 67-72 Owners!

Not sure, we are going to York, PA on the last 4 days of May for the ATHS National Truck Show. We went in 2012 to West Springfield MA and there was well over 1200 trucks there. I got 1223 pictures of the 4 day show there. Had one rainy day so we all left at noon on Saturday for home. I will be going with about 50 members & wives for the show in York. Only 46 days away. Can't wait. Hopefully, I can get as many or more pictures this year. We live in Warsaw, NY. Couple other shows are at Longbranch Park in Liverpool, Then a couple weeks later is the National SPAAMFAA show at LongBranch Park also. Our show is that same weekend. Might not make it for a second trip to Syracuse. I have to do all the pictures for our 2 day show August 01, & 02.

I lived in Rochester and Canandaigua until I returned to active duty. Every few years I still get up there to visit friends of mine.

Thanks for the compliments. I changed it a little though since those pictures were last taken. I've added a 2-1/2" Skyjacker lift with some rally wheels.
