4 months down 2 to go til completion

I pulled this original paint 1970 C20 out of the junkyard four months ago to save it from the crusher. Here are some progress pictures.

Before front.

After front.

Before interior.

After interior.

Before side.

After side.

I still have about two months to go to complete the rescue. Then she should be mechanically sound and ready for state inspection. I'm hoping for a sweet original paint C20 SWB survivor to drive around.

I don't know, I kind of like the interior weed decor. Nice job.

Tony is that the same grille? And a clean up and polish does wonders for an old paint finish too.

Great job bring it back to life. Just thinking this could have been crushed makes me want to cry. Did you paint the roof or is that just a clean up? Keep up the great work and pics as you do more.

Original paint on the roof too. Original grill surround but new plastic inner grill.

Re: 4 months down 2 to go til completion

That's some improvement for sure. I've got a 69 grille surround in not quite as bad a shape as yours. So far I've resisted the urge to lay it down and go to hammering on it, too afraid of making it worse. And I don't want to have to buy a new one.
Real nice work Tony
