Question What color ghost flames should I do?

Hey Guys,
I'm getting truck painted with ghost flames next week and I need some opinions. The truck is a bright ice-blue metallic now with a silver band across the bottom. The interior is a medium blue. I am going with either Silver to compliment the bottom band or a darker Blue to compliment the interior. Another reason I was thinking of blue was I may do a Ghosted checkered flag across the silver band so it will stand out a little. Please keep in mind these will be ghosted in so they will mainly be visable in direct sun or under flourescent lighting. Here is a pic of it now.

I'd say something like a silver pearl.

I would go with a faint lighter shade of blue with silver tips. That would be smokin!!!

I'd go with Silver Pearl - Have it fade from nothing to the Pearl near the tips of the flames. You could add a little dark blue like dubie said. You could even reverse the flames in the silver band so they are pearl with blue in them.

I agree with dubie. I'd go silver to dark blue, and skip the checkerboard.

Bouncytruck,
That was another scheme I had in mind - the reverse!

The silver pearl ideas sound good. IMHO the checkered bottom might make the whole thing look a little "busy" as they say. You have a damned nice looking truck, and the ghost flames would be the perfect accent. But, like we always say, it's your truck and your money, so do what makes YOU happy!

After more thought, the checkered pattern would be too busy. As always, I appreciate everybody's opinions. Please keep giving opinions. What better place for an opinion than this board. Were all addicted to these trucks and want only the best ideas!

I did a quick flame job on you photo. Then I got carried away and slammed it and put some huge rims on it.

JMO, but after seeing bouncytruck's mod, I prefer the way your truck looks now, very clean, classic lines.

The after looks real cool... take away the flames on the rear.
Paint the flames almost the same color as the truck. Use a flip-flop, or whatever they call it nowadays.
