Front windshield seal

I need a new front windshield seal. Where has everybody gotten theirs and was a great fit? I was going to Use Lmc or brothers but have seen a lot of people buying from gmc Paul's and having good luck.

Re: Front windshield seal

This is one of them places NOT to save money. A cheap one will be a head ache for a long time. Been there done that. LMC rubber comes from china. Can't recall the name of the quality brand. Someone will chime in.

Precision also has a Youtube video on the installation if you are going to do it yourself.

Re: Front windshield seal

No I'm having the windshield replaced. But the place can't get the seal for some reason but the windshield is in stock.

Re: Front windshield seal

For some reason my glass guy had me buy mine from http://www.steelerubber.com/ because otherwise the moldings won't fit properly. It worked out for me.

Re: Front windshield seal

I don't have moldings so I think I'll be ok since mine is
The solid rubber and no chrome.

Re: Front windshield seal

I've had good luck with Steele on other cars and bought one for my Blazer. Looks to be good quality. My glass guy recommended Steele over the one he could get in town.

Re: Front windshield seal

What windshield do they have in stock? Some of them will give you that sun shade on the top 1/4 as opposed to just clear glass.

Re: Front windshield seal

It's the sunshade one they said. With the blue strip up
Top.
