are these drop spindles or stock height?

can anyone tell me if these are drop spindles?. i currently have 6 lug drum brakes. looking to find best options for disc conversion. I have read that drum drop spindles dont exist, but the truck has cpp lowering springs and what i THOUGHT were drop spindles. Doesn't look like i can use caliper brackets on these, so before i purchase disc spindles, I will need to know which kind.

thx

Those are STOCK drum brake spindles.
You need to buy 63-70 disc brake drop spindles.
You can add 5-lug rotors or aftermarket 6-lug rotors.
Tons of info on this site about this conversion.

Re: are these drop spindles or stock height?

thanks
when i bought it (owner passed) so i didn't know any details, my buddy had said they were drop spindles. possible then that it is only dropped with the cpp springs? if so is that a 2" drop or? because i guess if i need spindles, i should get the drop ones and go back to a stock spring for ride quality?? i only want to do this once...and the correct way.
here is the stance...ignore the rear as its on a hill.

ya, i have researched the crap out of it. i just didn't know how the stance on my truck was achieved without knowing if they were drop spindles....thank you.
obviously its just a drop spring so i will get the spindles (keeping 6 lug) and get a different spring to keep it how it is.

thanks guys

Re: are these drop spindles or stock height?

What's the rest of the suspension consist of?
These trucks ride great when done correctly.
They ride like crap when done half-assed.
Any drop shocks?
Rear shock relocators?
Adjustable track bar (panhard bar)?

Definitely get the drop spindles and replace the spring! The ride will be much better and you won't have any issues with alignment geometry. BTW... I have some 6 lug disk brake rotors for sale if you need some. PM me if interested.

yes. drop shocks all around. just replaced them all with Monroe short shocks because the old deutsch ones were bottoming out and shot. 4" cpp drop spring in back. relocate bracket. cpp (I think) track bar.
if I go stock spring with drop spindles hopefully I can still keep the new shocks.

Ditto on new springs and spindles. One easy way to spot drop spindles is that the axle stub will be moved upward -vs. Towards the bottom of the spindle.
