power steering bracket id help.

I got this off a parts truck years ago and thought it was off of a 230/250 but it doesn't look like the other ones I have. then I thought 292 but it doesn't look like it either so what is it???

I can tell you it's not a big block, if that helps. It's clearly made to mount on the driver's side. It must mount on the bottom outside because that 1/2" square hole is for a socket when you're tensioning it. I know that's not a lot of help, sorry.

If the pump reservoir is any clue, I'd say something later than 67-72. However, it's possible that the pump had been replaced with a later version.

The reservoir looks the same as on my 72 C20 350, but the brackets are different than mine.

it came off of a 1969 panel with a straight 6 I just cant figure out which and were it went on the drivers side. I know it came off of te drivers side and the motor had headers. that's about all I remember.

I know this thread is old, but do you still have this? My son is looking for a bracket and this one may be what he is looking for. I will share this info with him when he gets home from work. Thanks!

My son says he has what he needs for power steering; do you have a lower alternator bracket?
