Finally started the sheet metal repairs!

Finally cut out the Blazer floor board on the passengers side that was rotted out, have installed the new front cab support and am just about ready to install the floor board.

With this being my first time doing this extensive of a repair any words of advice? I have temp installed the floor with sheet metal screws and installed the door and test fit the rocker outer panel and the alignment looks good!

Excuse the Blob of weld on the cab floor support, as usual in these jobs something has to come up to make the job challenging, my welder took a dump and has decided it does not want to help any more! will be purchasing a new miller here in two weeks to replace it. I have a connection who is hooking me up with a new Miller 211!

Any input or advice would be appreciated!

Before you start cutting out too much, reinstall your door and set your gaps. The most important one is the top of the door header to the windshield A-pillar. You may need to use a small hydraulic power pak to achieve this. Once the gaps are set, weld a temporary support from the top of the windshield header to the rear of the cab floor (where the seat belt bolts). This will guarantee your windshield header wont move when you're cutting and welding.
The picture I've enclosed shows how I "pushed" the header back into location using a power pak. I put a bolt into the threaded hole that's already there to give me a solid point to push on.

Got my new miller 211 welder but have not had the time to get back working on the Banana. hope to get my garage straightened out after moving to my new house. Hope to start this weekend!
