1970 C20 OEM wheel help

Gentlemen, I need your help. I am considering buying a 1970 C20 Custom 2WD truck. Currently the truck has some awful looking aluminum wheels with three different type tires. If purchased, I'd like to get back to the stock steel, eight lug wheels. My question(s) is this; are all eight lug wheel bolt patterns the same, say Ford and GM? In the future if this becomes my truck, I'd like to convert the front to disc brakes. Will the same wheels work for both disc and drum? I understand OEM wheels were 7.6 X 16, am I correct on that? Any help or direction you can give me is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you.
Geo.
