'70 GMC Jimmy FS?

I just picked this up this morning. Got it for some cash and partial trade for a '70 GMC SWB I had. The body on this Jimmy is very clean with only the passenger rocker needing some attention. I crawled around underneath and all around and couldn't really come up with more than that. Even reached way back behind the rockers were the splash panel is and it is solid on both sides. Floor is solid from front to back. The body is straight as an arrow except a small ding about a foot foward of the fill neck. Looks to be an older restoration on the body and the interior was never finished off. There are some scratches and chips but shows pretty well over all.

It is a 350 4spd. that runs and drives excellent with plenty of power.

I'm mainly fishing to see if there is any serious interest from the board members before I shine it up and send it to ebay or the trader. If anyone thinks they may be seriously interested, please let me know and I'll give a detailed description and shoot some more pics. Thanks.

I'm looking to get $5500 as it sits.

This thing is ready to go and with some minor work (mainly interior) would be a very nice Jimmy. Feel free to ask questions either on the post or pm.

Jason

Keep it?

I've given some serious thought about it and need to sell it quick before I do! I just have too much going on right now with two trucks under restoration. I'd also like to maybe find a Suburban to haul my family of five around in. The Blazer would be tight with car seats for the young ones.

pics

I don't have interior pics yet but could get some tonight. The rear seat needs recovered and the front buckets are not original although they are in good shape and comfortable. Needs a dash pad and carpet kit as there is none right now. As far as I can tell they did the restoration on the body several years ago and just never finished it off inside. That's the easy stuff though! Also has a Kenwood CD player installed in the dash, good for some, bad for others.

Pardon the hijack, but your PM Box is full

Hey Jason,

Somehow I lost Dan's phone number, do you have it?

Sunday....Pulling the engine of the 71' I just bought from Dan's friend Kevin. Truck goes to the paint shop Monday morning for a complete color change. If you are not doing anything or can get away, stop by on Sunday so you can see her before paint.
