Help needed with vintage air install

A while back, I purchased a never installed vintage air kit (75067-LCZ-A) from a member here. It was on a project and he sold me everything he had. It is the type that uses the factory non a.c. controller and he wanted the modern electronic controller. I have finally gotten to the point where I need to install it and it did not come with hoses or lines of any type. It does have the ends for the hoses. Easy enough to have an a.c. shop crimp those onto some hose. The problem is the hard lines from the condenser to drier and drier to evaporator. I have contacted vintage air several times and they are no help. They just tell me that my kit is obsolete. When I tell them I need the lines, and that they should be universal, the tell me they sell the hard lines pre terminated in various lengths...can you need where this is going?

Could someone with a vintage air set up take some measurements of each of the hard lines at the condenser so that I have a better idea what length hard lines I need to order from vintage air, then I can bend them myself.

Just buy a few extra ends and the rubber hose and do away with the hard lines.. That way you can't route the lines the way you want and at the lengths you want..

You might be able to get a local hydraulic hose making shop to make up the hard lines for you, there is Classic Auto Air in Grapevine that can make up hard lines. The location in Tampa has made them for me. Butch

They are probably correct, they completely revamped the inner box a few years ago (maybe longer) to where and how a new kits comes through the firewall is completely different than my kit from 2006 (it's actually much better/cleaner looking).

Do you have the original instructions with part numbers? I was able to order new cables for mine with the original PN's.

Here are some photos with measurements, let me know if you need anything else.

Austin Rebuilders, 505 West Oltorf Street, 512-448-0884 is the place I took my hoses to for crimping. Just mark the hoses and be sure to mark which way you want the connector turned. I would imagine they can help with the hardlines also.

As for Vintage, they are located on the North end of San Antonio just off IH35. Might be easier to drive the truck and let them help you. They were helpful to me when I was at their office swapping parts, even when I didn't buy the kit from them directly.

Thanks for the replies above! I got a PM from Wayne above and called and spoke to Mark Hungerford at VA as well. Even though my set up is obsolete, they still have the specs/ patterns for the lines and hoses. Mark hooked me up and the parts are on their way!
