the funny part is the conversations i've had with my wife about this. i can't convince her that i DON'T want ac, heat, or a radio. but that i DO want her to ride with me...

If that's a factory block off plate, you're not going to weld it up are you? If you're just doing a clean firewall, I can't imagine you'd use a rare piece like that... or do you mean hole that someone drilled after the fact into it?

Just curious! I've never seen them before so would be happier seeing them on a "stripper" truck than a custom.

i'm going to repair the plate damage then most likely use it on my truck for now. it's 18-gauge tho so it will need to be done by a pro (i.e. not me).

as far as installing it on my truck, i am going for a clean look but some day i might want to do a factory resto. so i don't want to shave anything or do any mods that can't be easily reversed. i know it's a contradiction to block off an ac cab truck but it makes ME happy!
