Here's a pic of my 1994 seat that I had reupholstered. Came out pretty nice.

Good luck, Rg

Son of a whore that just rained on my parade! I really appreciate the free offer, but I actually just picked this up after work today down in Santee. $250 and it even adjusts. Now just have to find a custom upholstery shop.

Re: Where can I buy a new bench?

Nice score. I used el cajon auto trim a few years ago to replace the seats and convertible top on my mustang, fair price and came out nice.

That"s a ford seat and they don't adjust other than forward and back . and it looks like the seat tracks are missing I'm pretty sure they are wider and will hit your armrests before you close the doors and won't bolt into the stock floor mounts . Hurry and go get the free one .

If you want a correct era bench, a wanted to buy post in the classifieds is your best bet.

FWIW, I sunk a ton of time and money into the bench seat for my truck. Hunted down replacement springs, had the foam repaired, and recovered it twice before getting it to look nice. It never was comfortable, way too bouncy and I hit my head on bumps. I wound up swapping in new buckets from Procar. The bench lays in the basement now covered in my wife's junk.
How do you like the procar seats. Which model did you get. I was looking at the elite series. How do they fit in truck thanks

Grumpy, why you gotta smack the smile of my face?? Damnit! Thanks for the heads up on the seat. I haven't mocked it up yet but I don't have arm rests so if the doors shut, I should be able to have some sort of a bracket welded in and we're good to go, no?? I really love the fact it will recline forward. At the very least, guess I can always put it back on CL the Ford guys.

Again, thanks for the heads up! Happy New Year!

I NEVER go to Santee. It's over an hour away from me so I'll have to hit you up in the middle somewhere. Would love to grab a beer and just talk shop. I know anyone else who owns these trucks so I need to get out and meet more so I can learn more!

Happy New Year!

I dig the look of that one. Do you need to do much to get it to fit?

I hear what you're saying, but I need the bench to fit this guy when he comes along for a cruise.

PS - The buckets are free to anyone that wants to pick them up in Oceanside.

Re: Where can I buy a new bench?

Assuming that's an Iphone pic, if you take pics with the home button of your iPhone to your right it will post correctly. If you take portrait pics or with the home button on your left or pointing downward in any orientation there's no telling which way it posts.
Regardless of how you took the pic, edit it by rotating, save, rotate back, save again, now it will post with the orientation as taken.

Oh, I love a good bench seat too.

No, it's a bit narrower than the stock 67-72 benches and tons of people have used these seats.

If the bench you have will fit I would use it. It looks good and if it isn't too wide you can handle the making brackets for it.

Good luck, Rg
