Put windows in doors and forgot uclip for vent screw aghh!

I started on the drivers reproduction door and got everything in and then I noticed the long vent window screw.I did not put a uclip in door for the screw to catch in.Well I aint gonna take vent window back out to fix it.Are there any fastener out there to take the place of the uclip to get screw to hold in?
Another problem with the same repro door the window is real hard to roll up the last 1/2" or so.What can I adjust to help this problem?
