I made a startling discovery.........
On the left door, my truck's upper front door frame fits flush with the cab. On the right side, it is sunk in about a quarter of an inch.
I have a friend with two trucks and went and looked at them. They are the same as mine!!
So everybody go look at your truck. the upper forward edge of the doors on the left side should be flush, and I bet the right side is not.
I think there was a problem with the jigs that the guys used to set up the right side, and GM didn't halt production to fix it.
Hope that helps. your cab has been fixed on the right side, and the cab curve is too flat.
(my two cents)

My driver's side is sunk in way worse then then the passenger side is

Re: 3rd set of doors still not right..

I've used a pneumatic office chair for bolting up doors before. Works pretty good. Adjustable height, can lean the door back, doesn't scratch.
Aftermarket patch panels don't fit, period. They all need tweaking before/while putting them on. Never put cab corners on with no doors on the cab. You may have to start over on the cab corners to get that curve correct.

Door update!

I got the door fitting much much better! Two things I need to address still is the little gap in the back and In the front lower corner the door hits the cab and rocker right before the door gets shut.. You can't feel it in the movement but you can see the rocker move any advice? And thanks to all for the help so far!

I'm not helping...
Maybe the jigs for the doors weren't all the same, your truck was built at a different plant on a different jig...and the doors came from another plant?

Your prob right! I had to replace alot of metal on this truck as well so I'm sure I got something a little out of whake.. But the door fits much better it is level with the cab besides in the rear towards the bottom but my cab corner is a little flat that should be easy to fix. My next problem! Is the front lower door hitting... I did get some weathering stripping today and test fit it on the door and of course it's super tight and hard to close

Thanks again on the picture flip. Before I bent them I moved the bottom hinge in towards the cab as far as I could and it brought it to this point. I moved the top hinge out as far as I could, thanks for your help. It's close enough to be happy with for now, just gotta take care of the door hitting the cab in the front bottom corner
