A kinetik AGM battery will be powering the truck. We built a custom mount that sits pretty close to the factory location.

Re: 1951 3100 by Tre 5 Customs

That brings this thread pretty much up to date. Some other cool things associated with the build though... The owner bought a new enclosed trailer to haul the truck around in. It's a super nice trailer with a side door that makes getting in and out of the truck very easy once it's in the trailer. The fender also comes off the driver's side to make opening the door easy. There's a full Kicker sound system, including a subwoofer, wired up to the trailer as well.

Oh, and I can't forget the brand new Chevy Dually we outfitted with a leveling kit, 20" wheels, 35" tires, color matched bumpers, swing out tool boxes, gooseneck and 5th wheel companion hitches, and a full exhaust with custom engine tune.

We also have shirts on their way. If anyone is interested in grabbing one, shoot me an email tre5customs@gmail.com

Impressive! What are your impressions of the RS chassis?

Re: 1951 3100 by Tre 5 Customs

The chassis is very pricey. I'm over $20k in it. It's a nice chassis for this application though. I'm not sure I would use it if I was doing bags because there isn't a lot of travel in the suspension. They're also lacking some simple additions that I feel should be included when you're spending $20k + with them... like body bushings, bed blocks (or just build the mounts higher so the wood blocks aren't needed), correct amount of nuts and bolts, bolts should come with the engine mounts (especially since you have to pay extra for the mounts), brake pedal should be included with the brake arm, etc. All small complaints for a really awesome chassis though.

Carlsbad, NM background. He owns a big welding company that does a ton of pipeline welding for all the oil growth going on around there.

Super reasonable pricing on them. Cheaper then buying a set of factory seats out of something else and having them rewrapped.

Man killer build cant wait to see this thing finished! ill have to do some research on the TMI seats I'm looking into starting the interior on mine. I have some 06 GTO seats laying around I was gonna have recovered but might not be worth it.

Really nice truck build, Top Notch!!! Money flow certainly helps the builds move quickly...

I like that chassis too, real nice stuff. and you should bring your concerns up with their sales dept, as a builder Im sure they will want your input if it means future sales to more of YOUR customers.

Tre 5, is the lower column mount the Ididit piece? Thanks.
The build is awesome.
Hopefully $27 bbl oil doesn't hurt the owners budget.

Thanks! This is the first time I've missed Barrett in 4 years. Too busy wrapping this truck up. We deliver it next Friday!

There definitely was a budget and we managed to stay within it. His budget was around $100k, but not to exceed it by too much. We did exceed it, but not by too much... lol.
Here's some quick math for you guys...
$20k chassis
$5k wheels and tires
$5k brakes
$20k engine and trans
$20k paint
plus everything else, lol.
