Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
Ok, here is another 'Highlander' question:
Was all cab carpeting in the Highlander option always black?....or were they also offered/supplied in color combo's similar to the Cheyenne/Cheyenne Super trucks? (Backstory....if/as I do a few interior upgrades and renewals, such as the plaid upholstery vs. cheyenne fabric option (not solved on this), I was considering switching to a color keyed carpet in place of the black carpet. Noting the downside of switching away from black is that every stain, every spill, every mark shows up in the carpet so you start moving away from the 'daily driver' option) All Good Coley

This was listed last night on our local craigslist, he also has the 72 c10 in the background listed together with it.

Re: Do you have a 1972 Plaid Pickup?
I have noticed that most of the spids have that there is plaid on the seat, is it possible mine was ordered without plaid as it is not listed on the spid anywhere?

Specifically 1 611 10 CUSTOM TRIM COMBINA Indicates Blue Plaid seat trim and the special combination of white and black parts used in all Highlanders. 1 YG8 20 SPECIAL PROMOTIONAL Indicates it was optioned with Promo Package "C" which included the Highlander Plaid trim as part of the package's fixed contents. In summary you have two lines on the SPID indicating Plaid Trim and one specifiying Blue Plaid trim. If you are comparing a 72 F SPID with one from another plant (like 72 Z) you will see differences, often a lot!
