After driving it around awhile, and the giant puddle of fluids underneath - I didn't want it to be my first automotive project. I need something a little less rough around the trans/engine as I start this journey. I'm sure that I could have parted it out and made more than $1400, but that's not the goal (nor do I have the space for that). |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Another possible platform to launch my automotive tinkering/restoration...
Not sure on the 3-speed manual on the floor in 71. https://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/5844953191.html But for $1,200, the surface rust may be the only real problem! |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Would it have a 12 bolt with that engine combo?

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
Anyone have thoughts on this truck?
https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/5849878267.html Heading up there tomorrow to take a look at it (3 hour trip) and hopefully purchase. From my limited knowledge, it looks like a 71 Cheyenne. Lady says that it's been passed down in the family from the original owner (the grandfather) and she's sending me the VIN - the PID is gone from the GB. Hopefully the hunt is over and I can stop bothering this thread and move over to a build thread |

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds
I agree, that truck is an inch form being a parts truck. You are in what I call 'The Truck Rich Tri-State area of Washington, Idaho and Oregon "
