Can my control arm be saved ?

Hopefully some of you guys can help me. I have a nice original 66 lower control arm on that has been rebuilt one too many times. A new ball joint (K6023) is now a bit loose in the hole. I checked with Moog for a slightly oversized ball joint but that was dead end. I hate to trash the arm because it is in such nice condition. Anyone know of a fix for this ?

You could put a few tacks on the bottom side. You can also drill out the arm and put a new ball joint cup in. Might be easier to find a new arm though.

Re: Can my control arm be saved ?

Thanks for the responses. Unless I can find another decent arm, I might try the tacking idea. For as few miles as the truck will see the ball joint will probably never have to be changed again.
