Mirror Attachment

How are the below-eyeline mirrors mounted to the doors? (The large mirrors, but not the West-Coast or the Custom Camper ones)

Are they plain holes with sheet metals screws or with machine screws?

Or are they Nutserts that have a larger hole with a threaded nut crimped in and a machine screw into the Nutsert?

I'm looking for what would have been an "original" installation.

Re: Mirror Attachment

At least for 1969, they were sheet metal screws.
