NOS 67-71 LH Window Regulator

NOS window regulator 3887981. SOLD

Edit: Someone wrote on the package 67-72. That is wrong. This regulator is for a 1967-71. The 72 regulator was different. Also, see post #3 if interested. It doesn't matter which I sell, but I'm only selling one.

These are hard to find and go figure I found two in a month. It was a tough choice which one to keep, essentially 1978 date on the box label + near zero surface rust versus moves more freely, and moves more freely lost.

This regulator was sealed in the package when I got it. I removed it and found some surface rust only on the the hardware only (e.g., rivets and nuts).

I removed the surface rust and the old grease, saturated it with WD-40 and silicone on the rollers, and put it away for another day. Personally I'd paint this (including hardware). I plan to do exactly that with my regs.

$190 plus shipping to include insurance to $200, plus any Paypal fees. This is being shipped from 89701. The box will be 26"x12"x4", and shipping weight is 5-6 lbs.

Re: NOS 67-71 LH Window Regulator

Trade possibilities: Mint OEM in:

NOS Role-up Window Inner Sweeps: 3893781-2

Like new A/C "S" DUCT PLENUM

Ignition Acc-Off-On-Start Emblem 3952228

Never used (yeah right) heat stove for a 402 stove pipe.

Add Ignition Bezel Nut 3918893

Add Headlamp Dimmer Switch 1997043. Prefer one with Delco Remy stamp.

Add Door Sills (mint). Already have to send back a pair. These will go a long way toward a trade for one of the regulators.

Re: NOS 67-71 LH Window Regulator

I'm open to selling the other LH reg. instead. Comes with the original box ((Rooker Chev Olds, 7/17/78) and the regulator is in excellent condition. But that piece runs another $25. It's kind of a pain to get to, but I'll take pics for anyone otherwise ready to pull the trigger.

Thank you.

Thanks Dave, I don't think that alone is worth the shipping cost, if you get my meaning. I just bought one for $14.50 shipped. I suspect it's a recent production via Mexico, but it is GM. In other terms, $25 shipped is the best I can do assuming it's great and a true NOS.

Edit: For what it's worth, I added another item for "trade bait", beings a headlamp dimmer.

It's off to Ebay...........Say, looks like we can no longer edit posts? I guess this thread and those like it just hang out in limbo. Anyway, unless someone claims this on Ebay it's still available.
