Real C10 Buckets???

Here is a picture of some bucket seats I have a chance to purchase. I was wondering if this is the correct covers on them?

Thanks!
Jimmy

I think it is a 69-70. Others that know lots more than me can chime in to tell you for sure.

They look like they are original to you Joe? They are in a '71.

Re: Real C10 Buckets???

Looks original to me. Check passenger seat bracket....if original truck seat, it will be stationary mount. Believe blazers could swing up on passenger side. You could also inspect to see if the cab support is under the cab, which only bucket seat trucks had.

I'm just a cynical old bugger but whats to say someone won't come along and offer the person more money for the seats and the seller takes it and gives you your money back. I've been buying and selling for + 40 years and seen this done a few times and once to me. Looks like you bought a very nice set of buckets. I have a set going in my truck sometime this year.

Drove to Ohio(almost 500 miles) to see the truck I was coming to buy on a trailer leaving as I pulled up! It happens...and if it does again, so be it. Just wasn't meant to happen

At least this time I am less than a hour from home

Re: Real C10 Buckets???

Now that you mention it I could use a good guage cluster and them outside door mirrors. You will like the buckets for sure! Your significant other may not though if you have one. I have some doors and a hood of you have room. Unfortunately not original paint but nice n dry.

One surface rust spot on the lh front corner of the hood. Doors have speaker holes cut out on inside.
