How to pop back of door glass into channel?

Among other projects on this truck, 67 C10, I am changing the window regulators.

I have read the various posts on how to do it, and have gotten it all apart. I have the new regulator installed, and have the doorglass rollers in the correct guides, but can't seem to pop the back edge of the metal on the bottom of the glass into the back channel towards the door latch.

When I took the glass out, I didn't really notice how it came out, and don't see any trick to get it back in other than brute force, but afraid to try that! lol. I haven't seen anything about it in the other threads. What am I missing here?

And while I'm at it, what is the best lube to spray/apply, and where, to make sure the window goes up and down good. I assume on the rollers and guides themselves, should there be anything on the edges of the glass, or will that smear on the glass? Thanks! Earl

Im pretty sure all of the channels have a little recess cut in them for the rollers to slide into, just have to have them lined up.

Did you remove the two lower screws in the rear window guide? It should slide in pretty easy with those out.....

No, I haven't done anything with those bolts. I take it I have to un-do those so the channel can be twisted to get the metal bracket on the glass into it? I am going to try to add a pic (For the first time! lol) of the spot I am having trouble with. My phone was about dead so the flash wouldn't work, I shined a flashlight there but not sure how it will show up

Yeah, the pic didn't come out too good... But the bent metal edge on the glass bracket looks like it slides in that channel. Do I just take those screws out and rotate the channel so the metal goes in? I tried to just push the glass straight back into the channel, pushing towards the latch area, but wouldn't go in. I don't want to bend/break anything! lol I hate working on stuff that I'm not sure about how it all fits!! I can get a better pic tonight if it helps, but I'm sure some of you more experienced people know what I'm talking about.

I lightened up the picture and rotated it. It looks like the metal channel on the bottom of the glass is in the wrong place. The glass is too far back. Here is what it should look like. You will probably have to remove the glass and re-seat the metal channel.
