What size buss fuse and amperage is this?

It runs from the main harness to over in the battery. It shattered. It only looks to be like 1/4 or 5/16 length

This should help. There's a fuse holder on each side in about the same location.

Wow. If that is the case I don't need it. I replaced my amp gauge for a battery gauge. One less thing I need to worry about.

Thanks for the replies

In reality there's no battery gauge--that's just GM fudging a bit. These trucks are factory w/ a battery gauge that shows whether the battery (D) or alt (C) is more positive. For D, the battery is more positive and the alt isn't charging.
There was never an alt gauge, or ammeter in 67-72. This was to limit current for a not so meaningful gauge in the cab.
Whatever meter you have reads might be of interest. If you have the factory setup, the fuses are of interest.

Thanks. Good info. No I replaced all but the fuel and the Speedo with aftermarket. So the battery gauge, oil and temp are aftermarket.
